Q.What’s it like to be a Personal Trainer in Brisbane?
A. Having been born in Brisbane and lived in the surrounding suburbs my whole life I know of quite a few great Personal Training spots to run around and train at. Training at Strathpine Brisbane is great for the whole family with all of the parks and space available and Warner Lakes has a similar atmosphere too. These areas are nice and close to home at Bray Park but it is great to get out and about and go for a run along the Sandgate/Shorncliffe path as well. It is a 20 minute drive from Bray Park so not too far to for some beautiful scenery.
I have been a Personal Trainer now for two years and decided to choose this as a new career path for me after my second child was born. After having my second child it was all about finding the time to workout while coping with a newborn and a toddler. It was also about being organised and prepared with my meals so I could continue to workout and also making sure I had meals for the whole family so they didn’t starve! As any parent would know dinner time also tends to be the most stressful time because this is when the baby is usually it’s fussiest. So I know exactly what it is like to have to lose all that excess weight while keeping everyone else happy!!
I love working in the outdoors in Brisbane because the weather is fantastic, the locations are so pretty and we all tend to spend so much time indoors so it feels great to be outside. At some of my day sessions we have mums that bring their children along so they get to play outside while mum gets their fitness workout done.
